What is it?

Allows your fellow teachers and graders to access your spreadsheet data and add/modify entries over the
WEB. Informs students about their grades and standing in the class.
Developed to administer medium/large classes, where several teachers contribute grades.

How does it work?

Authorized teachers/graders can log in using their favorite WEB browser, and
they can read and/or modify the relevant section of the class spreadsheet.
Average grades are calculated right away.
The result is stored so that the class administrator (that is you)
can download it directly to a spreadsheet program. WEB pages for the students and the
teachers are created instantly with the most recent grades.

Free service?
|
The service
can be used from any platforms (Unix, Windows, Apple, etc.) as long as a WEB browser of late
edition (from Netscape, Microsoft etc.) is installed. The administrator also needs a spreadsheet program
that can export/import the data in either "tab" or "comma" separated text fomats (like Microsoft Excel's
.txt and .csv files).

My own program?

Download the program. It runs on a Windows 95/98/NT computer.
You will also need a WEB server that can handle CGI scripts.

is free, easy to use and it takes only a few minutes to install.

Is it safe?
|
The teacher/grader login is password protected. Each grader can modify only his/her grades.
No two graders can work on the spreadsheet at the same time. You have full control over who and when
can access/modify the data. A backup copy can be downloaded at any time. The privacy
of you and your students is fully protected.

Is it flexible?
|
The WEB pages generated for you can be fully personalized using simople set-up forms.
Reasonable default settings and sample spreadsheets are provided. Try it
first as it comes out of the box.

Is it free?
| For the time being, everything is free.
Bugs are currently fixed and your feedback is appreciated.
At a later time we may decide to place ads, or charge for the use of the ad-free version
to cover our expenses. Active users will not be effected by these
changes.
